Once in a while, a super cool event comes along. You know, the kind that is not only great for business, but is so fun and so out of the box that you can’t help but think about it all the time until you actually have the chance to execute – and then, when it’s time – look out!

Once in a while, a super cool event comes along. You know, the kind that is not only great for business, but is so fun and so out of the box that you can’t help but think about it all the time until you actually have the chance to execute – and then, when it’s time – look out!

Ad that is exactly the way it went down with The Electric Daisy Carnival.

It began when AFR Account Executive Donna Sandoval and Sales Coordinator Angie Carlson got the call from Lizzy Ederi of Mish-Mish Productions. She asked the ladies of AFR to come up with some “good stuff”  for the client,  Insomniac Productions, and AFR happily obliged.

Historically the three-day event is held in Los Angeles, and even more specifically  at the LA Coliseum, but this year, it was moved - its new home would now be Las Vegas.

Sandoval and Carlson were so excited to bring its client’s vision to life, so on June 24-26, 22011, the largest electronic music festival in the nation—The Electric Daisy Carnival—would commence. Creating the perfect atmosphere was an total must—and AFR took the Las Vegas Motor Speedway’s 1,200 acres of asphalt tarmac and transformed it from a raceway into an exceptional event featuring lights, carnival rides, performance stages, and spectacular high-end sound systems. More than 250,000 costumed guests were in attendance,  taking in the heart-pounding music at five unique stage locations including the Kinetic field, Neon garden, Cosmic meadow, Circuit grounds, and Bass-pod.

The vibe was amazing – totally chill – and Sandoval and Carlson designed the event to fit Insomniac Productions’ as well as the festival goers needs. No detail was missed, nor was any featured item left without a splash of color for effect.

There were two exclusive VIP rooftops—both equipped with AFR’s furnishings and décor pieces, a small restaurant area, lighted lounge areas, 60 air-conditioned VIP cabanas, and a magnificent viewing deck.

AFR’s team of experts utilized white and glow products on the top level of the “neon garage” in order to bestow that extra glow, and allow VIP guests to relax while taking in the festivities and enjoying the amazing music. The “general public cooling lounge area” was outfitted in AFR’s Tangerine, Imperial, and Suave fabric series, presenting the ultimate colorful and practical places for guests to beat the June heat and enjoy what could have been one of the coolest” concerts/carnivals in town!
