Living Décor – Springing with Ideas.

Spring officially arrived over a month ago and after spending the last seven months in what seemed to be a perpetual winter on the East Coast, we are looking forward to spring as signs of new life begin making their appearance everywhere.

While we were waiting for the big thaw, we had plenty of time to look for new ideas to incorporate into our events. We found one that we especially love – living décor. One of the best creative tools that any event professional can have at their fingertips is Pinterest.  That’s where we went looking for inspiration.  We thought we’d share a few of our favorites with you.

1.  Create a unique Living Photo Backdrop for your next event.  Just take a look at this one created with hedge and fresh floral by Sullivan Owen.

2.  Looking for a different ceiling treatment?  Look at this Living Green Canopy we found by taraguerardsoiree.com.  What a great idea and it’s simply beautiful.

3.  Living Table Runners. Bring living décor right onto your table tops with a moss table runner or other living tabletop elements.  Set against fresh floral it can create very unique and beautiful tablescapes.

5.  Living Bar Backs.  Look at this colorful bar back by Flower Bazaar using exquisite roses in brilliant colors. It added a wow factor at our Miami Networker last year.
