AFR Furniture Rental is pleased to announce its latest success: receiving the NJAA Associate Award for Business Partner of the Year.

“We are so grateful for this prestigious award,” said AFR’s Executive Vice President Ray Fiorica. “It is because of the excellent work of New York Metro General Manager Steve Rudolph, and the entire New York area and New Jersey-based teams that we won.

Rudolph, who has been with the company for six years said, “We cannot begin to share how happy and proud AFR is to have been recognized by such a prestigious organization, and especially among such a dynamic and talented group of professionals.”

The high-profile 17th Annual Garden State Awards & Recognition Dinner, which was held last week at the Hyatt Regency New Brunswick, saw more than 550 members in attendance to recognize the outstanding achievements of friends, acquaintances, finalists, and winners. More than 50 awards were presented to various property staff, associate members, and management companies. Among them, AFR Furniture Rental. “We were surprised and thrilled to have won the award for Business Partner of the Year,” says Rudolph. “Being a partner [versus just a vendor] means so much to us. For AFR, “partner” means that our opinions matter, that we are asked to help make a difference, and that we can be part of the solution. We take pride in being much more than order takers and hope to continue to make a difference in the businesses that we work with for years to come.”

The event itself featured fabulous food, the banter of Master of Ceremonies, Bill Nye, and a beautiful environment in a stunning venue, really giving industry insiders, clients and business partners a chance to network, relax, and just hang out with each other. “Everyone was so supportive,” explains Rudolph. “With everyone cheering for each other’s accomplishments, the vibe was incredible. Again, we are so fortunate to have been not only a part of this,but an award recipient.”
