Los Angeles Event Pros fought through traffic to get to AFR’s Los Angeles Networker held at Noor in the Ella Ballroom. Voted “Best of Pasadena” for three years running, this beautiful space should be on your list of “sites to visit” for your next event or wedding.
Design galleries were set throughout the patio, foyer and ballroom for guests to discover design ideas to take back to their events. Here are eight inspiring furnishing looks you can use at your next event.
Colorful groupings of Aria End tables accented with vibrant floral paired with Regency Cubed Ottomans created an inviting outdoor area. These vivid pairings can also be used inside for casual groupings.
Stepping through the towering doors and into the elegant foyer, a gorgeous bar and a sparkling crystal chandelier overhead set the stage.
On either side of the bar area, Aspen Pub Tables were matched with Marcus Bar Stools to create two communal styled banquettes. Orange pillows finished the setting. A decadent floral boat filled with a variety of colorful blooms brought the decor onto the tabletop. The look was beautifully modern and luxurious.
Set around the perimeter of the ballroom were several settings created from some of AFR’s feature collections.
Sumptuous leather, wood and metal featured the Winston Collection and Butterfly Table mixed with Civic Cocktail and End Tables with Orange Regency Cube Ottomans atop a Grey Illusions Rug. Finishing touches included taffeta orange and white custom logo pillows. Floral and accessories included a gunmetal grey spiral ball and orange floral set in a rough-hewn log.
Looking Pretty in Pink featured a corner setting comprised of AFR’s modern Grammercy Collection with Middle Eastern accented Zanzibar Tables with LED lights set inside. A Zinc Pub Table, Fuchsia Phoebe Tables and Regency Cube Ottomans and a Grey Illusions rug finished the setting. Floral in this area were vivid pops of pink in brushed silver and mirrored metallic containers.
For the meeting and conference planner looking for fresh ideas, a corner vignette featured an Essentials Charging Station with red Chandler Collection chairs and Hylton Tables backed with an Aspen Pub Table and black Criss Cross Bar Stools.
Teal, brown and silver were the mainstays of a setting that featured a black Metro Loveseat, interior lit Rose Tables combined with Teal and Zambia Regency Cube Ottomans. Set atop an Illusions grey rug, the color choice, pattern and textures combined with the furnishings made for an eye-catching statement.
The royal feel of the Regale Collection took on a Moroccan twist when paired with Hex Tables and colorful glass mosaic candle lanterns. Logo pillows and fresh floral in mirrored glass containers put the final touch to the vignette.
In the middle of the room, a Chateau Sofa was paired with a Vermont Dining Table and Camel Regency Cube Ottomans for a beautifully appointed setting. A stunning table top display of reclaimed driftwood, candelabra, orange floral and berries surrounded with clusters of LED candles in a variety of amber glass containers created the focal point of the room.
The food was fun and included tray passed hors d’ oeuvres, which showcased Mac and Cheese Bites, Sweet Potato Fry Cones, Grilled Cheddar Cheese and Tomato Soup Shooter, and Southern Fried Chicken and Waffles. Not to be outdone, the specialty drink of the evening was a Pineapple – Jalapeno Martini. Having tried them, we can vouch that they were spicy and delicious!
A photo opportunity at the entryway along with a customized Capture Pod Photo Booth in the ballroom provided guests with an entertaining take home memento.
A super highlight of the evening was the nitrogen ice cream bar. Super Creamery believes that ice cream should be an experience, and that it was. Not only known for their delicious ice creams and sorbets, they also feature iceless signature cocktails for your events.
