In Philadelphia, furnishings met fashion and priceless collections at AFR’s DesignSPARKS Networker and provided an inspiring evening of innovation and interaction.
Designed in the 1890s, the Penn Museum is a beautiful historic building located on the University of Pennsylvania campus and is one of Philly’s premier and unique venues. You can find out more about booking your next event at this venue here.
Entry Foyer
Befitting of a museum hosting the world’s largest collection of Egyptian artifacts, two Pharaohs welcomed guests to the event and directed them to Registration at branded VIP Glow Bars.
China Rotunda
Inside the brick-walled soaring rotunda, a feast of design collections awaited guests. Creating a club-like setting within the room, long rectangular truss structures were dressed out with VIP Glow Bars topped with strikingly beautiful floral displays and backed by white Shanti Bar Backs. LED Acrylic High Top Tables bookended the area on both ends. Around the perimeter of the Rotunda, smaller exhibits of furnishings mixed with museum displays created an elegant and luxurious setting.
Egypt Upper Gallery
Guests were drawn into the Egypt Upper Gallery as an announcement informed guests that a Pop-Up Show featuring Fashion and Furnishings was set to begin in just a few moments.
Models walked the runway in their fashions, which inspired the furniture settings throughout the Gallery. After the fashion show, the models each took their place in their fashion inspired vignette. It was an elegant way to blend furniture and fashion together. From soft Neutrals to Industrial Glam, Art Deco and more, fashion set the tone.
The food was delicious, and the menu included an Artisan Cheese Station, Meat and Potato Bar and a Dessert Bar with Petit Fours, cookies and other sweet temptations. Every bite was melt in your mouth amazing!
Elegant and stunning floral arrangements throughout the space oozed inspiration and creativity in both design and flower choice.
