We arrived in Las Vegas for our Networker Tour Stop with high hopes for a great evening, and Sin City did not disappoint! About two hundred guests showed up to the JW Marriott Hotel and Spa where they were treated to an evening of design, inspiration and networking! In true Vegas style, a Champagne Girl and Living Topiaries welcomed attendees to the event.
If you’ve been following the tour, then you know that we have been previewing our 2014 Collections across the country. We have some amazing new collections and the response to them have been phenomenal. Check out our new Regale Collection, staged under a video mapped “Welcome to Las Vegas” sign. Our new Phoebe tables made their world premier on the Vegas stage. Our sassy red Chandler Collection sat against a snowy backdrop accented with our Zambia Cubed Ottoman and Novel End Tables. We’re having a lot of fun showcasing the new collections in innovative ways throughout the tour.
Dreams are made and broken in Sin City and just underneath the surface of reality, lurks a fantasy world where every whim can be indulged. Featured designs were centered on vivid imagination and make-believe. Our designers went above and beyond to design using their favorite pieces along with furnishings that the hotel thought they could best sell to their clients and blended them all into an environment that provided snapshots of a true Las Vegas experience.
Baskow & Associates created a Winter Wonderland using the Sophistication Line, Essential Banquettes, and the Continental Line, our glowing Club café tables and Cylinder high tops, as well as our new Rose and Zanzibar tables. With floral support from By Design, plenty of sparkle and bling, it all worked together to create a stunning look.
Origins Event Planning brought an Alice in Wonderland Mad Hatter Setting to life. Using the Vermont Table for the tea party they surrounded it with different chairs including the Elan, Dijon, the Marteen, Ghost Chair and a Grass chair. In another area, they used a Chateau Sofa, another collection of mixed chairs and end tables to keep the off-balance edge to the design. Full of twists and turns, around another corner was a setting, which used the Tangerine and Imperial Collections interspersed with colorful Regency Cubes set against fantasy backdrops provided by Backdrops Beautiful. With stunning floral and even a Mad Hatter cake and characters, the setting was something out of this world.
Outside a black and white dance floor with a Crystal Highback Loveseat created a throne for the Queen of Hearts played by none other than Vegas celebrity, “Norma Llayaman.” She brought a couple of friends with her, the Mad Hatter and Rabbit, and they mixed, and mingled stopping often to pose for photo ops with the guests.
A VIP Curved Glow Bar with a custom acrylic clock graphic and our Extravaganza Line created a Hookah Lounge and finished the outdoor space.
Designed by our own Kathy Power, another gallery featured a Great Gatsby setting featuring high back Crystal Loveseat and Benches with Reno cocktail and end tables. Rose tables, Jumangi cubes, and high top Zinc tables. White cubes topped with feather arrangements in glass cylinders and floral added the finishing touch.
Back outside, we created a Sports Lounge and showcased our Umber Bar, the Winston and Parma Collections set with giant iPad coffee tables. A cigar expert rolled custom stogies for the guests to either enjoy outside or take home as a memento. For high rollers wishing to tempt Lady Luck, black jack tables surrounded by Marcus Bar Stools provided guests the opportunity to try their hand. Virtual golf provided yet another activity for guests. If guests wanted to relax, the perfect spot to do so was around our wooden Memphis Pub tables surrounded by comfy Regal Bar Stools.
The JW Marriott provided a great menu for the evening including a Pizza Station, a Bruschetta Station with Dips and Cheeses, a Fall Buffet with Turkey Dinner and all the fixings and a Dessert Buffet with delectable cupcakes and cookies. It was delish! A signature cocktail with a Candy Cane Rim put guests in the mood for the holidays
Rolando Espinoza from Champagne Creative won the drawing for The Special Event Conference package provided by our National Sponsor Partner, The Special Event! Congratulations, Rolando!
