AFR Event Furnishings hits the Jackpot at ISES Northeast Regional Education Conference (REC)

Dave Buckley, CSEP , ISES Northeast Regional Vice-President headed up the REC 2011 Committee for the ISES Northeast Region which was held from March 13^th – 15^th at Bally’s Hotel and Casino in Atlantic City, New Jersey.  The theme for this year was “A Shore Bet on your ROI.”  Dave and his team had been planning for the past 8 months and the end result was a very successful Conference. Over 200 Event Professionals from the Northeast Region and around the world attended the full Conference and 250 attended the Luau Party, the social event held on Monday night at Harrah’s Pool.

AFR Event Furnishings was one of the 23 Sponsors who in total donated over $125,000 of product and services to ISES for the REC.   AFR provided the lounge furniture for the ISES Lounge, which was in use for the entire conference for great networking opportunities. On Sunday night, the welcome reception was held there followed by a dance party later that night. On Monday and Tuesday it was used as a refreshment and break room for all attendees.

In choosing what collections to showcase at the conference, it was important for Dave to create a functional and memorable experience, just as AFR would do with any event.  Attendees were introduced to some of the new RS Signature Series including the Orbit line and Club cocktail and end tables.   Sophistication, Continental and the Ultimate bars with the Cosmo Stools were all on display as well.

At the Northeast REC, AFR was highly visible and was well represented by Dave Buckley and five account executives from the Northeast Region.  Great job to the entire AFR Team who helped make this event so successful.
