Phoenix: The Society of St. Vincent de Paul of Arizona

This year, AFR Phoenix worked exclusively with St. Vincent de Paul to aid families in need of food. We completed a volunteer activity back in November alongside a client who wanted to help, we made a monetary donation (this organization has the buying power to turn every dollar into $7 worth of food), and we enlisted the help of some of our most charitable clients in a food drive. Jo Ellen Verna and Summer Peil dropped food donation boxes customized with our AFR Gives Back logo and our clients’ logos earlier in December. We are proud to have collectively collected 8 full boxes of food and clothing items for families in need, and they were FULL and HEAVY! Our final donation equaled 335 lbs. of food and 332 clothing items! I’m so proud of this team and their commitment to our community!
