Dear Bonnie,

I would like to personally thank you for choosing the Society of St. Vincent de Paul as the beneficiary of your donation. Through diligent planning and generosity, the American Furniture Rental staff members raised over 127 lbs. of food, which will help our less fortunate neighbors build healthy and stable lives for themselves.

Our most valued assets are measured in the friends who contribute their strength, compassion and resources toward the Society’s mission. We know there are many organizations from which to choose. We are honored that you have chosen to help us as we help others.

Should you wish to host another drive, please know we operate 365 days a year with the summer months being the most difficult to provide for. This is due to an enormous increase in the need for emergency food assistance, as children who might usually receive free or reduced-priced meals at school, are now home for the summer with little or no access to meals. This is the time of year when families struggle most.
