Team AFR – Breast Cancer Awareness Month

The reality of breast cancer is just plain scary when we really stop to think about it. Unfortunately, none of us gets to choose whether (or how) we are personally affected by this terrible disease. We watch loved ones, neighbors, co-workers, and sometimes even perfect strangers battle for their very lives. Who are we if we stand by idle without doing our part to fight back?

That's why this year AFR Furniture Rental tried something different to help raise awareness, donate funds, and kick cancer's butt!

All October long, our Sales, Ops, and Retail teams wore pink ribbon pins. When a client spotted someone from AFR wearing a pink ribbon pin - we asked that they snap a selfie with that team member for a chance to win a donation from AFR in support of a leading breast cancer organization.

We are very excited to announce Marquia Smith from Alpharetta, GA as winner of AFR’s October Breast Cancer Awareness Month initiative! AFR will be making a donation to the Susan G. Koman Foundation in her name. Thank you to everyone who participated and helped us raise awareness all month long!
